User Agreement & License Terms
Plain-language terms governing your license, use of the AUTOMATA software, client data boundaries, and evaluator responsibilities.
Software License & Evaluation Terms
Valentine Psych Services / AUTOMATA grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the AUTOMATA software on your personal and professional workstations in accordance with your active subscription tier or authorized complimentary evaluation license ($157 commercial value).
Evaluation license holders agree to test the software on fictional or authorized de-identified data, report technical issues via the Support portal, and provide clinical feedback.
You Remain the Evaluator
AUTOMATA is a clinical drafting assistant, data synthesizer, and calculation engine. It does not make legal, medical, or diagnostic determinations.
As the credentialed evaluator (Licensed Educational Psychologist, School Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Speech-Language Pathologist), you maintain full legal and ethical responsibility for all interpretations, eligibility statements, recommendations, and finalized psychoeducational reports. Every document generated must be reviewed, edited, verified, and signed by you prior to IEP dissemination.
Student Records Never Leave Your Control
AUTOMATA runs entirely on your local machine and inside your personal or district Google Drive / Google Sheets workspace. Student names, birth dates, raw scores, and psychoeducational reports are processed locally and stored exclusively in your own designated Google account. No student records, identifiable psychoeducational data, or confidential testing protocols are ever transferred to or retained on Valentine Psych Services servers.
Account Boundaries & Biometric Authorization
Each Practitioner license is dedicated to a single evaluator. Practice accounts cover the specific number of licensed seats purchased. Users agree to maintain secure credentials and use Google Sign-In and biometric verification (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint / Passkeys) to safeguard access to downloaded executables and connected Google Sheets.
What Belongs to You
All finalized reports, custom narrative additions, graphs, and clinical documents created by you using AUTOMATA are 100% your intellectual property. The underlying AUTOMATA algorithms, software binaries, wording engines, test parsing rulebooks, and brand marks remain the property of Valentine Psych Services.
Dispute Resolution & Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any inquiries regarding licensing, institutional agreements, or terms compliance should be directed to info@automatareports.com or via our Support Portal.
